John Prideaux (1578-1650) was an English University graduate.
In 1641 he came to be bishop of Worcester. He is described
to be a Calvinist inside the church, one with a great deal
of influence. He was also Rector of the Exeter College and
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford.
