This well known book "Zuid en Noord" (South
and North) is an athology of the one of the finest Dutch writers.
As is written on the title page, this work was produced for
the "more educated scholars". The man who wrote
this book, Evarist Bauwens, was a Jesuit. He was born in 1853
and died in 1937.
