Abraham Kuyper (Maassluis, 29 October 1837 – Den
Haag, 8 November 1920) was a Dutch theologian, politician,
statesman and journalist. He was the founder of the first
political party in the Netherlands, the ARP, he established
the 'Vrije Universiteit' (Free University) and contributed
to the creation of the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands.
He was Prime Minister from 1901 till 1905.
