The poet C.D. Viehoff was a minister at the 'Evangelic
- Luthern congregation' of Utrecht, as is written on his collection
of poetry. The only other thing we know about this poet is
his year of death - 1860.
In 1849 he published a book by J. D. Doorman, with the
title 'Palmbladen - Godsdienstige Poezij'. On the cover is
written 'Published for the benifit of the poor'. In the poem
'De Joodsche Tempelbouw' he uses the Divine Name on several
occasions.
