website it states: "Kampenhout is located in the centre
of the triangle formed by Brussels-Mechelen-Leuven, an area
reknowned for the chicory plant in the lowland of Brabant
of which the highest point above sea level is 17 meters, located
besides the canal of Leuven-Dijle, and the stone roads of
Leuven-Mechelen and Brussels-Haacht. The many listed buildings,
monuments and landscapes bear witness to the rich historical
past of this former medieval village with its registered office
of the head bailiff. Here the visitor can take beautiful walks
along old farms and castles... ".
