Esen - Shrine

City: Esen is a village in the Belgian province of West Flanders. This village has been since 1965 a ‘deelgemeente’ (literally: part-municipality) or subdivision of the city Diksmuide. The village has a population of almost 1,900 people.

Around the churchyard are 9 shrines constructed (from 1933)? The images tell stories about Mary's life. One of the shrines is named 'Dedication'. It is on the image of this shrine that God’s name can be seen on top. The name appears in Hebrew with vowel marks.
