Aubignan - Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation et Saint-Victor

City: Aubignan is a village in the south-west of France (in the of region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur). The village is built on a small hill. The date of its foundation is estimated as being between the first century before Christ and the first century after Christ. What is certain is that the village is named after Albanius, a landowner. The village has about 4200 inhabitants.

Building: The present local church, Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation, is dated 1732. Obviously this was rebuilt on the site of an earlier church.

Object: The Divine name, in Hebrew, is placed above the door.
