Le Pradet - l'église Saint Raymond

City: situated between the Provence and the Mediterranean Sea, near Hyères and the Golden Islands, a sequence of beaches and coves, pine trees, vineyards and flower gardens. It is also a paradise for water sports. - According to a description given on a tourist site (http://www.vakantiehuizen-odalys.com). Le Pradet is a town and municipality in the French Department of Var,in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. This municipality is located on the Mediterranean Sea, about 8 km from Toulon. Its main economy is made up from the production of olive oil, vegetables and wine grapes.

Building: the Church was built in 1863. The wall paintings are the work of Louis Ponchin de Martigues and were painted between 1871 and 1877.

Object: in the first painting to the left, as you enter the Church, you'll see the name of God, except that the first character is placed on the left side instead of on the right. The image represents Amos. For the sake of completeness, we are showing also the other paintings displayed in the Church.
