Prades - église Saint-André

City: There are several municipalities with the name Prades in France. The Prades which we are showing pictures of is a small village lying in the region Haute-Loire in South-Central France. There are 60 inhabitants (in 2006). The village originates from the 5th century.

Building: The church dates from the 12th and 13th century. The church is in fact a Romanesque chapel, dedicated to Saint-André. It is believed that this church is the smallest of the large churches in the Avergne - a cathedral in miniature.
