Olten - St. Martinskirche

City: The place Olten is mentioned for the first time in 1201, in a document from Bisshop Diethelm von Konstanz in which Ulrich von Olten represents Olten. In this city, in the northern part of Switzerland, there are 17,500 residents.


Building: The church of St. Martins was built between 1806 and 1813. The style of the church is called 'Classicism'. In the dome of the church God's name can be seen in a circle, representing heaven.
